Yikes, that seems like a lot of cooking. I plan to do it all in the evenings, though. I guess it is not really so bad to cook once a day and eat 3 times, huh? {insert whiney voice: "OMG, you mean I have to spend time COOKING my FOOD?!..."} It is so ridiculous that we would even dare to complain about that, right? I will mention it no more :)
Have a good week!
P.S. I added a few pages to my blog, tabbed at the top. Mostly just categories of stuff I've already posted.

Is any of the beef @ Aldi's grass-fed? Is the salmon wild? What great deals you got!
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish Aldi had grassfed beef! :) I think all their beef is conventionally raised.
DeleteThey just started carrying some organic items (mostly prepackaged snack food).
The salmon is wild caught wild Alaskan salmon. Their frozen salmon filets are wild caught, too!
Trader Joe's has frozen grassfed beef (not local - New Zealand) for $5.99/lb. I don't know the price at Whole Foods but if you get 3 lbs. or more at once you usually get a discount of 50¢ per pound.
Our Aldi's doesn't carry any GF or organic foods.
ReplyDeleteOurs just started this past week... I wonder if it is just a test thing regionally or something.
DeleteI've never been to Aldi. Just assumed (wrongly, it seems) that it's all junk. Thanks for the heads-up on the wild salmon!
